It is important to understand that the extension base is not an additional separate piece that sits on top. Instead, we make the standard base taller to support the steeper pitch of your building’s rooftop. As a result, this modification ensures your cupola sits level and looks proportional on steeper inclines.
Steep Pitch Support: Standard cupolas typically fit up to a 10/12 or 12/12 pitch. However, if your roof has a 12/12 or 14/12 pitch, you will likely require one or two extension bases.
